Algemene voorwaarden
Laatst bijgewerkt: 18 oktober 2026. De Engelse versie staat onder de Nederlandse.
Last updated: 18 October 2026. The English version is below the Dutch version.
Tools for the Guitarist is een handelsnaam van ConceptPool BV, Vinkenlei 35, 2900 Schoten, België, ondernemingsnummer 0819.201.820. Je bereikt ons via [email protected].
10. Lidmaatschap

You find us at toolsfortheguitarist.com, on our checkout pages (checkout.toolsfortheguitarist.com) and in our learning environment (community.toolsfortheguitarist.com). By ordering from us or using our lessons, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Tools for the Guitarist is an online learning platform for guitar students, created and led by Jo Cassiers, a professional guitarist and instructor. We guide students with video lessons, workshops, workbooks and live sessions.
Tools for the Guitarist is a trade name of ConceptPool BV, Vinkenlei 35, 2900 Schoten, Belgium, company number 0819.201.820. Contact: [email protected].
2. Course access
After payment, you receive personal access to the lesson materials in our learning environment. This access is strictly personal and may not be shared with others.
A course or workbook you pay for once remains available as long as the platform is active. For the membership, see article 10.
3. Use of materials
All videos, PDFs, audio clips and other lesson materials are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of Tools for the Guitarist and Jo Cassiers. Copying, distributing or reselling any materials is not allowed without written permission.
4. Prices and payments
All prices are in euro and include VAT. Payments are processed through a secure payment system.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content you receive right after payment, such as video lessons or a PDF workbook, this right ends if you expressly ask to start immediately when you order and confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal.
Once you have access to the lesson materials, no refunds are issued, unless the checkout page or an offer states a money-back guarantee, or article 10, point 6 applies.
6. Platform availability
We do our best to keep the platform accessible 24/7, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and updates may temporarily affect access.
7. Liability
We strive to provide accurate and valuable content, but the use of our courses is at your own risk. We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of our content or services.
8. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy (toolsfortheguitarist.com/privacy-policy), which follows the GDPR. We never share your data with third parties without your consent, except with the service providers we need for payments, e-mails and the learning environment.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. The new version will be published on our website. For price changes of the membership, see article 10, point 8.
10. Membership
The Tools for the Guitarist membership is a monthly or yearly subscription that renews automatically. It gives access to what is listed on the checkout page, for as long as the subscription runs.
The first 30 days cost €1. After that, the subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly, at the price shown on the checkout page when you ordered.
After the first payment, the next amounts are charged automatically through the payment method you used when ordering, for example direct debit or credit card.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through our customer portal (portal.plugandpay.com/login/toolsfortheguitarist-18991) or by e-mail to [email protected]. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Until then, you keep your access. If you have a yearly subscription that has already renewed automatically at least once, you can cancel at any time, free of charge. Your cancellation then takes effect after a notice period of at most 2 months. You get back what you already paid for the months after that.
Your access starts right after your first payment. For the right of withdrawal, see article 5.
Money back: if you forget to cancel, we refund the first full payment after the first 30 days. You ask for it within 14 days after that payment and you cancel your subscription.
If a payment fails, we may suspend your access until the payment is settled.
We announce a price change for existing members by e-mail at least 30 days in advance. You can then cancel free of charge. This does not apply to members with the starting price (point 9).
Starting price: if you join at the starting price of €9.95 per month or €99 per year, you keep paying that price after the first 30 days for as long as your membership continues without interruption. If you cancel and join again later, you pay the price that applies at that time.
Buyers of the Kick Start to Play video course who received 12 months of membership pay nothing for those 12 months. If they want to stay a member afterwards, they pay the starting price from point 9.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Antwerp have jurisdiction.
